Common questions from clients considering IBIS software for the first time.

We know that sometimes it’s easier to browse the website to get general information. If you don’t find the answer here, drop us a note, or give us call. We’re a friendly lot that are eager to help.

Most likely! We recommend computers be no more than 3 years old, with at least 2 GHz processor and 4GB RAM and running Windows 10 or later.

We can connect printers, scanners, monitors, EFTPOS machines, cash drawers, label printers and touch screens. Ask us for a full list of recommended specs.

IBIS requires a working internet connection at all times for processing payments and saving bookings. If your internet connection is intermittent we can look at options such as hosting your own server. 

We will provide a download link that you can click on and this can easily be accessed from our knowledgebase any time you need to install it on a new computer. Just follow the prompts for installing and make sure you don’t copy the file across to another computer, but instead install it correctly. 

We will support you every step of the way to make sure you go live on time. This includes full product configuration, testing and training with your team to get you going. After go live, our extensive user guide will help you step-by-step through processes. Our NZ-based support team are also on hand to help with anything you’re stuck on.

IBIS POS supports integrated EFTPOS and currently works with your choice of SmartPay, Payment Express, EFTPOS New Zealand and Verifone.

Yes! There is a lot of functionality in IBIS software that is configurable for your specific needs.

Yes! IBIS can connect your live availability to channel partners like Viator, EYouNZ and more. We’re the official booking software partner for the i-SITE network, so direct bookings are a breeze.

IBIS has connected scores of solutions to Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks and other accounting systems, too. We give you the flexibility to invoice from IBIS (it’s easy!), or from your accounting software. Contact us for more details.

Yes. IBIS gives you flexibility to use promotion codes online, add discounts to reservation products, and process discounts at point to sale. Want to offer an early bird deal? Use discounts to fill the last seats of availability? Done! Then, report on discounts to gain insights on effectiveness.

Using the IBIS integrated Point of Sale capability and our payment processing partners, we can take a variety of card payments including Chinese Payments like AliPay in addition to good old cash and on account. Accounts automatically flow through to invoice – no double handling of data in IBIS. Our online payment partners are Payment Express and Stripe.

Existing clients can reach the IBIS knowledge base from the main IBIS application menu by choosing Help. Once in the knowledge base you can search for a topic by keyword or phrase.
