Meet our newest team members

We've had some new recruits join our team over the last few months. You may have talked to them on the phone or conversed over email. Now it's time to find out more about them!

Introducing Hannah Caithness

Originally from sunny Scotland, we welcome Hannah to our support and implementation team. Hannah moved to New Zealand 8 years ago and has been immersed in the tourism industry ever since. She brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding in customer experience and will be a great asset to our support team going forward.

In her spare time, you will find Hannah enjoying long walks in the sunshine, relaxing with friends, or dining out in one of the many delicious restaurants in and around Queenstown.

Welcome Matt Hirst

Hailing from Yorkshire, England, Matt has worked in tourism from the age of seventeen. He’s worked around the globe at some of the world’s most beautiful and sought-after destinations before finally settling in Queenstown in 2012. He can usually be found walking his trusty companion (Woody) around one the many of dog-friendly tracks in the Southern Lakes region so feel free to stop and say Kia Ora.

Matt has worked with iconic Kiwi tourism brands so he joins the IBIS Team with a wealth of knowledge in operations, sales and solutions. We look forward to Matt getting into his role in Sales and Customer Relationships.

Meet Ian Clarke

Longtime local and tourism aficionado Ian joins the release and development team here at IBIS. Ian has an impressive background in software development, building and maintaining websites and optimizing bookings systems. Coupled with the knowledge and perspective he can share as a tourism operator and business owner, Ian will be a vital member of the IBIS team as we grow into the future.

Having lived in Queenstown since 2003, Ian and his wife along with their 5-year old daughter love the outdoors! Whether skiing, running or swimming you can catch them enjoying the splendor and diversity on offer around stunning Queenstown.
